In this episode of Rule the Galaxy, Joe, Tony, Nick and special guest Greg Cass (@eyeoncanon on Twitter) discuss news of the day as well as the life and times of Count Dooku.
We are finding more and more links between the High Republic and the Sequel Trilogy.
Are we all in on Obi-Wan and Duchess Satine having a love child? Korkie?
Are the prices of Cara Dune action figures going to keep rising?
With the rumor mill out there talking about the Rian Johnson trilogy still being out there...we discuss our thoughts on his work with The Last Jedi as well as how we would approach a new trilogy by him.
We look deep into Count Dooku. He is a character that most of us were not high on years ago...but after we have joked about him for years, we are now seeing that there is much more depth in this character.
We discuss his lightsaber, his ship, his family history as well as the challenges he faced throughout his life! A character that is connected to Yoda, Rael Aveross, Sify Dyas, Qui Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Asajj Ventress has to be complex and a survivor.

We see the death of the Grand Inquisitor and the Birth of the Rebellion with Bail Organa and one of our favorites, Ahsoka Tano.

In honor of #StarWarsPodcastDay #SWPD2021 Rule the Galaxy has a special guest.
Joe has been following Steve Glosson and Geek Out Loud since he started listening to podcasts a decade ago.
Steve tells us about his pal Brian Austin Green and shows us how the MCU blew him away.
We discuss how much we both love Ewoks and how Luke returning in the Mandalorian had such a unifying effect on Star Wars fandom.
Steve lets us know that it depends on the Star Wars action figure and how it looks for him to decide if he is going to open the packaging or not!
We have decided that while all of us would like to be a Jedi or Sith in the Star Wars Universe, most of us would end up a fat Ewok, running a diner like Dexter Jettster or Wuher from the Cantina.

The Rule the Galaxy crew of Alfie, Brent, Mass and Joe loved having our guest on to talk Star Wars as well as many other topics.

We discussed weight loss as Adam and Brent have both lost well over 100 pounds!
Adam worked in a Chimpanzee colony and we learned a lot!
There is a fan of Charon the Gungan tour guide, one of Adam's characters and we made sure we learned all about that.
Favorite film and characters for Adam, Return of the Jedi, R2, Jabba, Cad Bane, Embo, Chopper and the Ewoks
We find out that Ashley Eckstein, Sam Whitwer, Vanessa Marshall, Dave Filoni and many other people related to Star Wars are very cool in person.
Adam wants nothing more than to meet and interview Gina Carano

Nick and Joe discuss the great novel, Dark Disciple, by Christie Golden.
This storyline was originally put together by Katie Lucas as an eight part arc in Clone Wars before the series was cancelled.
It is hard to believe this book came out in July 2015 before we saw The Force Awakens.
This is a must-read for any fan of the Clone Wars and Asajj Ventress.
We love to see her story arc across the Clone Wars through this novel.
It was great to see more depth of Quinlan Vos as we barely got to know him in the animated series.
Having Obi-Wan, Count Dooku, Boba Fett and others as parts of this story was fabulous.
Asajj and Quinlan teaming up and attempting to assassinate Dooku is a great storyline. Having them grow feelings for eachother took it to another level.
Nick and I both highly recommend this book to anyone that loves this era of Star Wars.
