Joe and Nick discuss the YA Novel Lost Stars by Claudia Gray

This book was released in September of 2015 as part of the Journey to the Force Awakens

We follow the Romeo & Juliet-style story of Thane Kyrell and Ciena Ree

These two live their lives around the happenings of the end of the Clone Wars, thru the Original Trilogy and the story ends at the Battle of Jakku a few years after ROTJ.

Claudia does a great job of weaving in these real life situations around the Galactic Civil War.

Both Nick and I cannot recommend this book more.

Brent and Joe discuss Star Wars Rebels

We cover Season 1

Chapter 9 Gathering Forces - Part two of Empire Day. Ezra touches the Dark Side to save Kanan. Admitting you are afraid is braver than most. Kanan and Ezra go back to Anaxes.

Chapter 10 Path of the Jedi - One of our favorite episodes so far. Jedi Temple on Lothal. Kanan and Ezra do a ton of growth in the episode.Yoda makes an appearance. Ezra makes his lightsaber

Chapter 11 Idiot's Array - Lando!! We see an old familiar face and learn more about him. Start to see some things in Hera that lets us know she has seen some bad things over the years.

Chapter 12 Vision of Hope - Senator in exile Travis...ugh...what a worm. Ezra has visions and Hera figures things out.

Three episodes left in season one. We will finish those up soon!

Joe and Mark discuss being old school fans of Star Wars

Mark started writing Star Wars fanfic in 1981. 

As he states the playground was our internet at that time.

Mark has been with starwars.com and Star Wars Insider since 2006.

He presently runs the Fantha Tracks website and podcast...go check those out!

He loves 70s & 80s rock, plays the bass, has recorded an album and performed in over 300 gigs

Favorite Lightsabers are Mace Windu and ROTJ Luke Skywalker

If he could spend a day with someone he has interviewed for Star Wars it would be Mark Hamill, Irvin Kershner or Anthony Daniels.

Christopher Lee definitely knew what he was doing with a lightsaber. 

If he could bring back one EU / Legends character, it would be Gallandro from the Han Solo novels.

Han Solo is the best salesman in the Galaxy and by the way, Han shot First!

By the way, Mark collects everything!!
